Taylor Swift Releases New '1989' Song 'Welcome to New York'
Taylor Swift has released a new song from her upcoming album, "1989".
Hitting iTunes on Monday night, October 20, just hours after being previewed, the song called "Welcome to New York" was co-penned by the singer and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.

The upbeat and poppy track was inspired by New York City, the town where she lives now. In a video she shared on her YouTube page earlier on Monday, Swift says, "I dreamt about moving to New York, I obsessed over moving to New York and then I did it."

"The inspiration that I found in that city is kind of hard to describe and hard to compare to any other force of inspiration I've ever experienced in my life,"
