R. Kelly Wishes Himself 'Happy Birthday' With New Song

R. Kelly wishes himself happy birthday on his new track. Aptly titled "Happy Birthday", it was premiered by DJ Moondawg on his radio show on Thursday, January 8, the day the R&B singer turned 48.


The song finds Kellz throwing a wild birthday party at the club. "She got a friend, and they kissin' each other/ They goin' in, they all on each other/ They takin' shots, now they down for whatever/ She's a good girl, but tonight she a stripper/ She got a man, but that n***a ain't with her," he sings in auto-tune.



Kelly put out his latest album, "Black Panties", in 2013. He then revealed earlier last year that he was readying a follow-up called "White Panties" as well as a house music album. Details of the projects are currently unknown.

Most recently, Kelly teamed up with former Disturbing Tha Peace raptress Shawnna for "Back Up".
