Justin Bieber's New Music Will 'Shock' Fans, Says Manager Scooter Braun
Justin Bieber is going to "shock" the world with his new music, so his longtime manager claims. Scooter Braun, who has been managing Bieber since he discovered him six years ago, teased the troubled superstar's upcoming project as he talked about working with some of today's biggest music acts in a new interview with Complex.

"He's in such an incredible place right now, and he's excited to share where he is with the world next year," Braun said of Bieber, who's been making more headlines for his run-ins with the law and his on-and-off relationship with Selena Gomez than for his music. "It will shock some people and make others really happy."

He added that Bieber's now ready to "be the man people want him to be" with his upcoming album which will be filled with an "openness about what he's learned in the last year."

Bieber already surprised fans when he posted an apology video online following his visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" late last month. "I was really nervous," he said of his appearance on the show. "And I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about me right now. It's been a minute since I've been in a public appearance and I didn't want to come off arrogant or conceited - basically how I've been acting the past year or a year and a half."

"I'm not who I was pretending to be. And why I say pretending is often we pretend to be something were not as a cover-up of what we're truly feeling inside," he continued before admitting that "being young and growing up in this business is hard."
